Manchester, NH (LifeNews.com) -- While the rest of the Republican field attempts to outmaneuver one another and gain position as the most pro-life candidate, Rudy Giuliani continues to defend his pro-abortion stance. The former New York mayor continued his theme of promoting adoption over abortion at a New Hampshire campaign stop.
"I believe we should reduce abortion and increase adoption," Giuliani said, in an attempt to soften his strident pro-abortion stance.
The he went on to say why abortion should remain legal.
"But in a society in which we dont want government running peoples lives," he said. "We should keep the government out of it. We should allow the mother ultimately to make those kinds of decisions."
Those kinds of remarks keep most pro-life advocates from supporting Giuliani.
Wendy Wright, the president of Concerned Women for America, is one pro-life leader who told LifeNews.com she doesn't trust him.
"Pro-lifers welcome converts and are grateful for support from ambivalent politicians on crucial issues as they arise," Wright said.
"But it would be naive and dangerous, putting millions of lives in jeopardy, to bank on a presidential wannabe who, even when attempting to win our support, cannot defend and prove their deep commitment to pro-life principles," she explained.
You haven't read my previous posts on the topic or you're just an idiot. Get it factually correct before you make a further ass out of yourself.
Rudy’s doomed.
