One amputee WR patient told me months into the WR FReeps that he doesn't want other wounded troops coming into Walter Reed and seeing only the Code Pinkos because that could really hurt the morale of some wounded troops. He explained that the FReeper presence there was extremely important to counter the Pinkos.

Please join us. Support the troops and be a part of our peaceful counter-protest to Code Pink.

Don't let the troops think that regular Americans are too busy with yachts, polo, golf and other recreation to peacefully counter America-hating leftists.

Being there with us in spirit is great, but we need people to hold the MOAB (Mother of all banners), other signs, and flags. Maybe you can't come every week, but please make it your patriotic duty to join us at least once in the near future.

Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 7200 Georgia Ave., at Elder St., NW, Washington, DC

On street parking is usually easy to find and there is a parking lot at the corner of Georgia and Elder. Location is about 6 or 7 blocks from Takoma metro station and is walkable, but it is best if you get a ride. If you want a ride, FReepmail tgslTakoma and me, preferably with your cell phone number as far in advance as possible. If you wait until Friday afternoon, it may be too late to coordinate a Metro ride.

If you don’t live in the DC area, this will be a perfect time to come visit us in Sept. The weather is usually great at that time. Visit the Air and Space Museum, the International Spy Museum, and see the Monuments: Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Vietnam War, Korean War, and World War II.

Then support the troops at WR and help us counter ANSWER. You can have a great time and do good.

Thanks for posting the thread, Bill. Last week as Albion Wilde and I stood on the corner with the MOAB, a Fox5 News van drove right by us. We commented how the MSM totally ignores American citizens supporting our troops and their mission.

After last night's Fox5 News report on Free Republic, I guess Fox5 News was too busy trying to put together their BS hit piece to film the truth.
