I was listening to the news out of the corner of my ear when I heard FreeRepublic specifically mentioned as a "hate site" about fifteen minutes ago.
Ostensibly the long report was about the Klan using the web to recruit new wackos. Then the focus turned to Casa Maryland, and their director who claimed that calls for his murder had circulated on the internet by anti-immigrant bigots. It was then that the anchor identified FR by name as a hate site.
Hear hear. And mention female soldiers or the leading woman on a CSI-type show and watch the insecure males make wild accusations of “Bulldyke!” against our patriotic ladies.
F.R. identified as a hate site?
We must be doing something right. :)
It is 10:42 PM here and I can’t get the contact info to come up. Do you think they could have taken down the link?
FR won a lawsuit against the Fresno government when they declared FR to be a hate site.

Oh my goodness! I never noticed that before. No I was not joking. I guess I never tried to report anything. I fight my own battles. I never was one to run to the teacher and tattle.
Also a lot of threads are posted that make freepers enraged due to their content. Those threads are from the MSM newspapers, and are posted here to make US aware of their existence. No as our opinion. Most of the MSM does not know a thread from a post, nor do they understand how a forum works.
In your post you just wrote, there is a hyperlink, where it says “to 29”.
I just now followed that link in your post, to my post you were replying to, and then the link I posted to the comment page, no problem.
It does seem to be responding a bit slower than it was. I wonder if they’re experiencing a large volume of feedback at the moment? :)
Sad but true...
The abuse button is there for us to report violations of FR’s posting guidelines to the moderators. It is not tattling. It is there to help maintain FR’s standards.
Any site not entirely politically correct is likely to be branded a “hate site” by the neo-cons. Just as O’Reilly liked to wrap himself in the mantle of a free-thinking truth teller by supporting Bush’s immigration bill, Fox tries to make itself look good by seeing “enemies on the right.” I guess Michelle Malkin’s blog site must be a hate site to Fox by the same token.
The Democrats do have hate sites, it’s a real shame that O’Reilly labled this site a hate site. Oh course, liberals love that. Now we can’t even tell the truth about them without being accused of being hateful. That’s real nice. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever watch O’Reilly again. As a matter of a fact, the whole situation is so disgusting, I’m finding it difficult to watch Fox News Period. I notice I’m retreating to my radio listening days, like I used to do when I couldn’t afford cable.
“Now we cant even tell the truth about them without being accused of being hateful.”
^hat is more true than you know! And becoming more and more invasive by the minute. It rally is a sad reality for a free nation.
Thanks.
All that'll end up doing is giving FR an enormous amount of free pub. Folks will want to see for themselves what all the fuss is about, probably agree with much of what they read here, and then they'll be hooked for good.
(it’s our secret weapon)
How about a link? Thanks in advance. :)
Teacher’s pet ;)
