A prisoner is suing the Macomb County Jail for not allowing him to sign his marriage certificate after tying the knot with his fiance.
Waukeen Spraggins said his vows through a glass window in the visitor's room with a minister present in February. But deputies refused to let him sign because high-security inmates are barred from marrying in jail. Spraggins was considered a high risk after he escaped from jail in 1999.

Incredible that any inmate can find any woman willing to marry him. But on the other hand it`s not Manhattan like where I live where you have to make at least 7 figures or be famous so you can graduate to bringing a 3’11” Helen Thomas look alike to a hello in the street. (Yes, it is THAT bad here! All you Manhattan men, do I lie?)
For the life of me, I don’t understand where prisoners get any right to get married, get fat, or get on the internet while incarcerated. I just don’t understand it. I thought a prison was a prison.
