Patriotism trumps partisanship. As an American how can you degrade the service of an American based on his lineage? Maybe it’s me but when I served I never asked about the politics of the fathers of the men who served with me. The fact that they wore the uniform of my country was enough for me. Again I applaud his service.

Hang on to your pants. As a combat wounded vet, I also respect the service of Capt Beau Biden, especially since his father is such a classic liberal Democrat. Of course his commitment to his country by serving in the military is especially outstanding and commendable considering the left leanings of his father.
