Yep, I knew it was comin’. Bush IS NOT happy about Iranians killing our troops. He’s been biding his time. He’s been preparing. So the world will see we’ve not acted like a gunslinger...we’ve given Iran plenty of time to straighten up...Bush will NEVER leave office with a nuclear Iran...but I think first and foremost is they’re killing our troops.

there is something inherently wrong with this when the alleged leader of the free world has to be pressured by OUR congress no less, to do something about a state that has proven time and again that it’s a rogue terrorist state.

They couldn’t close the border between N and S Vietnam, and that was bombed by flights of B-52s every day.
That’s a valid point. IMO the big mistake there was that they didn’t bomb Hanoi back to the big bang. As I understand it they targeted the ports, but didn’t go after the North’s leaders and the city proper. If they had, gone after Hanoi, then other major cities, it’s my take that the general populace would have won the war for us.
It’s one thing to risk your own life in the South, but it’s entirely different if mom, dad, brothers, sisters, wives, children and friends are being vaporized back home. Of course the society was harsh to begin with, so that negates this theory somewhat.
Perhaps you can expand on this or even explain why it’s not a valid premise.
With regard to this war though, the baren dessert does lend itself to closing borders better. Just put people on notice that infrared targets will be vaporized at will.
yeah, I don’t think it is that easy to close mutiple borders of long distances. That’s a whole lot of man power, it seems to me.
