I believe we need to migrate to a natural gas based transportation. There is an estimated 700 Trillion cubic feet of natural gas reserves in the existing coal beds in the US. Many manufacturers already can provide CNG vehicles and a substantial distribution infrastructure already exists.

CNG burns cleaner than either gas or diesel and can provide the energy independence we need.

Investing in nukes would be a good idea to increase the power production for electricity as well.

Have you looked at the paperwork involved to convert an existing automobile to CNG? The govt’ don’t want you going there. I think Argentina went that route successfully though. We could to if the govt’ weren’t involved.
