These hypocritical eco-kooks have no problem using the bounty of the industrial world in their own lives. Look at any event photo.

• Bikes - Energy manufactured steel, rubber, shipping.
• Roads - Oil based asphalt built with fossil fueled equipment.
• Clothes - Energy manufactured cotton and synthetics woven by fossil power.
• Housing - Bet none live in mud huts.
• Electricity - None live without it.
• Cars - None of the protesters drive ;^)
• Organization - Internet built and powered by fossil fuels.

There was a time when eco-orgs sensibly wanted to clean up hazardous pollution and eyesores! Lady Byrd Johnson was behind the Highway Beautification Act. EPA Superfund cleans up haz mats.

I travel for work to Asheville, NC every so often. Really beautiful part of the country but the actual town is overrun with liberal wackos. It actually has a large gay population and the “San Francisco of the East” nickname is very fitting in that sense.
