There's just a quick blurb at the links (as usual, details about upcoming seasons of '24' are sparse to non-existent). Actress Cherry Jones will play President Allison Taylor in the 7th season of '24'.
I will reserve judgement and wait to see how this is all portrayed.
24 needs to remember who their main audience is though. They jump the shark this season with over the top pc bs then I will have to bid farewell to my beloved Jack.
I read an interview with Sutherland (the apple don't fall far from the tree, politically) and dismissed the show.
Not too decent. Remember he won the presidency by agreeing to blackmail David Palmer when Palmer’s wife tricked him into providing an alibi for her.
If 24 casts black Africans as terrorists, watch for the racebaiters to howl. Of course, they could be Dutch S. Africans. Those kind of evil ones are acceptable.
Soon the push will start, with “next female president” all over the womens’ magazines. I hope the American people have enough sense not to elect a confirmed communist.

I would like to see a season where Jack goes after eco-terrorists - the ELF types. The watermelons would scream louder then the muzzies, if that happened.

OF COURSE they pay attention, the fact that they picked a woman which her personal credentials only adds to the issue.
Why not a woman who was brunet? taller? Why a homely type?
No way this is not a political decision. NONE.
The left does that.
They promise the poltitically incorrect and good drama.
They will give it in the pilot and 1/2 of the first season and by the second season they decend into PC preaching.
Battlestar Galactica started at so-so but got a little better but soon became unwatchable leftwing drivel with good special effects. You just hoped the bad guys would win so something else could take the time slot.
24 going “green” with a lesbian president really has jumped it.
(I wonder if they will have the James Hansen faked temperature readings too as part of the show or will they keep the 1998 markes the treand fake data in a fake but accurate propaganda move.)
The questions I addressed are will the character be a lesbian, and will she appear to be a carbon copy of Hillary? If the answer to either of these is yes, the show will have ‘jumped the shark’ and will be dead. The folks at FOX Entertainment have a strong profit motive not to do this.
Memo to Jack Bauer: Stay out of Ft. Marcy Park - it's a far, far more dangerous place than anywhere you have been to date.
Thanks for the memories, Jack. 24 was great while it lasted. Even you can't beat this diabolical plot to destroy your show.
