San Antonio may well have a ‘Mexican Flavor’, but it doesn’t mean that comes from illegal immigrants. There have been Spanish speaking people there since before Texas became a state. I’m suspect they don’t like illegal immigrants any more than the ‘Anglos’ do.

There has always been a problem with the current debate in the denial that there is a native Hispanic culture in the US. Hispanic culture is part of the US and has always been a part of the US. Hispanic culture has nothing to do with illegal immigration. It is simply a way some use to divide groups on the issue.

Hmmmm......I don’t remember saying they were illegal. I just said as long as I can remember San Antonio has had Mexicans. Besides a lot of my non Mexican relatives came from San Antonio.
