If I may ask a question about an action you proposed several months ago, sir. In response to the absurd sentences given Ramos and Compean, you proposed a Congressional Pardon for those agents. Although I agree they should not be in jail and would welcome either a presidential pardon or having the sentences overturned on appeal, what is your Constitutional justification for Congress assuming what is an otherwise enumerated power of the executive?

Also, what is the status of Congressional hearings into any potential DHS and Justice malfeasance in this matter?

I have a question to propose to you about Affirmative Action laws.

As written in the Declaration of Independence, it states that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, ...”

Affirmative Action laws applied in the United States, in my words, state that employers and places of education must choose an under-qualified minority person over an otherwise qualified person. This is in direct conflict with our Declaration.

I would like to know your opinion on this, and what you would possibly do to challenge the legality of it.

What do you feel is the strongest way to sell Conservative ideals to those who, their entire lives, have been given a false impression of the Right (which, unfortunately is about half the country)?

Dear Congressman Hunter:

How nice of you to take the time and give the people here at Free Republic a chance to speak with you. I have a question about the current mood of the Presidential election, and the way that the MSM is herding the American voters like cattle through the slaughterhouse chute. Why do you think the media effectively closes out all candidates but the ones that fit neatly into their agenda?
It is early days yet, but I am being told every time I view a news source that I have only three options. I don’t think that is the American Way. I don’t want any of the choices that are allowed, and I don’t think it’s fair for those candidates to suck all the oxygen out of the race when it has hardly begun. It is very much the same on the Democrat’s side, and if the MSM could, they would declare HClinton as the next POTUS...today. They pretty much have done that already.

The MSM also tells me that Angelina Jolie is a role model. I don’t buy that either!
