Not much on the report as of now. Overhead video of crowd of newly free Cubans. Fox says they washed ashore on the Florida Keys.
I know it's not much of a report right now...sorry about that.
And because it is a breaking story, the news outlets don't have anyone on scene at the time the news is first broken.
And because they don't have anyone on scene to report, they haven't yet updated their websites with a story.
But for you, here's a link to a legitimate news source's website. Note well the headline. "Breaking News." But not much of a report.
It shouldn’t be ‘just for me’. If you are going to take the time to post earth-shattering news with no details, why don’t you feel the need to provide sources and a working link or two when they become available?
My name is Tony Montana.
you little cockaroach...
say hello to my little friend...
I posted what I heard and saw on Fox News, and specifically noted that it wasn't on their website at that time. And in the time since I posted this, I have checked namy different south Florida news sites, as well as AP breaking news for Florida. And I checked around on several Cuba-related blogs, which are often the first (and sometimes only) sources for news and photos of Cuban refugees.
So, you assumed all wrong when you stated that I didn't "feel the need to provide sources" etc.
Sheesh!
New tagline, I see...
Imagine the number of people who die every year while trying to get to America.
Yet, as soon as I posted my remarks, you came up with a link and seemed rather put out about having to post same. Remarkable.
Wow, I just discovered a FR entitlement crowd. They’re not satisfied with just a heads up, they want the whole damn platter their way or the highway.
Glad they’re safe, but why did we let them in?
Sometimes, I find it’s easier just to ignore , rather than trying to explain. It’s hard to change minds that are already made up. Anyway... Any pictures yet? I’m going to be really upset if we blow up any more antiques.
US law/policy.
If they make it to US territory, “feet dry”, they get to stay.
If the USCG gets them 200yds off the coast, back they go.
I have learned my lesson. But don't let me take any more of your valuable time. After all, there could be a Mexican sneaking across the Rio Grande as we speak and I don't want to hold you up from posting a breaking story.
Enjoy your day! ;-)
Somehow I don't doubt that.
Great! Let them all in.
I find immigrants from communist countries come to America and integrate. THEY still know what we are all about.
Illegals from Mexico come to make a buck.
Cubans come for the freedom.
I’d say there is a big difference.
Well I guess we should throw open the doors for the Chinese and North Koreans and anyone else that lives under a dictator. Sorry, aint buying it. We shouldnt have two sets of rules.
It's not the criminals who risk their lives to make it here through the Straits. Those slimeballs were sent here by Castro in the Mariel boatlift, much to Jimmah's horror. ;o)
Cuban immigrants come here because they want the freedom to WORK and do for themselves and their families, without fear of imprisonment.
Let’s take all the Cubans here.
Then, take all these damn illegal Mexicans and ship them to Cuba.
“Thats all we need is 25 more criminals to support.’
What crime did they commit?
