In a tape of a previous interview, today on FNC, Merv said no one ever knew if he was a Republican or Democrat. He never discussed it publically until this interview. (Wish all of Hollywood had even half the class that he did.)

He spoke very highly of GW Bush, and then said that Jimmy Carter's was the "worst administration in the history of America."

RIP, Merv. You were a class act and will be missed.
