I followed Danny’s story very closely at that time. Too bad freeper Uncle Bill isn’t around here anymore. He knew as much about that case as anybody. I still have some threads I actually printed off back in 1998 about ‘the Octopus’. Unbelievable stuff.

I appreciate your bother's early work on Whitewater. I've got a picture of him in my computer and I think of him from time to time. It was your brother, the other victims of Clinton and company and the casual way their stories were ignored by the US Congress and the Senate that destroyed my trust in our government. Danny Casalero will be a name that I never forget.

In his interesting book "Conservative Comebacks to Liberal Lies" (published in 2006) Gregg Jackson presents a list of 47 people connected in one way or another to the Clintons who have met unusual deaths over the years - including 12 "Clinton bodyguards (who) died of unnatural causes" and this entry on "Danny Casolaro and Paul Wilcher":

"Casolaro was a reporter investigating whether drugs and weapons were being smuggled into the airport at Mena, Arkansas while Bill Clinton was governor. He was also investigating the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. Casolaro was found in a West Virginia hotel room August 10, 1991 - his wrists slashed. People Magazine reported he'd told family and friends he feared his life was in danger.
Paul Wilcher was an attorney working with Casolaro to investigate the alleged corruption at Mena airport. He was found dead in his Washington D.C. apartment June 22, 1993, three weeks after he'd delivered his report to then Attorney General Janet Reno. He told Reno in the report that he was in grave danger and that if sensitive information in the report was leaked to the wrong people, some would be "silenced in the very near future".
