The second most horrible part of all this....(the killing was the most horrible)....is that there is no way to hold the "officials" responsible.

Sure, we can "vote" them out of office, but they still get to live in luxury, with their pensions, and are free to spread lies of justification.

I would like to see some retrubution...the judge, city councilmen...mayors, prosecutors.....all in jail, or in this case, hanged at the most populous intersection of the town at high noon.

If the consequences of official action were harsh enough, maybe some of these people would think twice, or better, not even try for the official job.

My thoughts exactly. If a doctor can be held liable for a bad outcome/botched procedure why can't the courts be held to the same standards?

There was a more civilized era of America when this sort of thing was done. Alas, we are like Rome just before the barbarian invasions now.
