News agency Reuters has been forced to admit that footage it released last week purportedly showing Russian submersibles on the seabed of the North Pole actually came from the movie Titanic.
The images were reproduced around the world - including by the Guardian and Guardian Unlimited - alongside the story of Russia planting its flag below the North Pole on Thursday last week.

Those Fins are pretty observant! Maybe Reuters should hire him as a fact-checker.

If its from the movie then it would also be copyright infringement. Someone has some splainin to do.

Perhaps Rooters could patch things up by holding a Press
Conference apology. This would have to be done by DiCaprio and Winslet.

We need a new office in our vast bureaucracy - a damage control office to counter mistakes of the MSM and presidential wannabes that undermine our international relationships.

The journalistic standards they have followed since the 60s no longer fly. Too bad.

Reminds me of the August 03 New York blackout when serious journalist Ted Koppel was interviewing a person “Bob” who was stuck in the subway. Bob told Ted about a concern for running into the characters from “Beauty and the Beast.” Ted keeps taking it all very seriously and doesn’t realize it’s a prank until the caller Babba Booeys him. What an idiot! Look out, it’s Vincent!

I vaguely remember that picture.
Looks like the bimbette was in a freaking CANOE trying to make it out to be a big bad flood when two guys walk by, ankle deep.
LOL!

Are you kidding? I just love FR.

You can tell that the destruction of Reuters is sad, because there's a stuffed toy nearby.

Are you suggesting that the Bat Boy photo is not real? No, I just haven't seen Reuters take credit for it yet....
P.S. How's the C. O. T. plan (in your tagline) working out for you?
Let's just say Al Gore would be proud. I probably outweigh him and my kids will soon be able to afford his style of carbon-free lifestyle :o)
