LA Democrats Say They Won't Focus on Jindal "Exorcism" Writings

The Louisiana Democratic Party says an attack ad it is preparing to air against Republican Bobby Jindal -will- focus on Jindal's religious writings from his college days, but will -not- focus on a piece Jindal wrote about observing an exorcism being performed on a female friend. WAFB 9NEWS reported Wednesday night that the exorcism paper would be part of the attack ad, but Democratic Party spokeswoman Julie Vezinot says that is incorrect. Vezinot said other anti-Jindal ads will air that focus on topics others than religion. "The ads are based on facts drawn from his voting records in Congress and his campaign contributions," Vezinot said.

Vezinot says the ad focusing on religion is just one of several the party is planning to launch against Jindal in the coming weeks. The party estimates it will spend nearly $1 million dollars on the series of anti-Jindal ads.

Jindal must have done it a bit differently than the method prescribed by the Democratic National Committee.

Probably left out the headless chicken, and the pig guts ~ definitely left out the pig guts.

Has Hillary heard about this yet?

I wonder how Chris Matthews will see Bobby Jindal’s campaign as opposed to Harold Ford’s.

“Matthews: “Well, that was a racist ad, and it ripped the scab off the old racial animosities in this country and fears. ... You’re talking about opening up all the old fears and angers, that was the most racist ad I think I’ve ever seen. And anybody that doesn’t see it is either not born in America or refuses to accept the reality.””

I don’t think this kind of crap is going to work like it used to. A lot of the scum has been washed away from Lake Pontchartrain.

Correction, Chrissie - that was the funniest, most effective ad that you will ever see in your pathetic lifetime.

I hope we see a LOT more of this type of ad in the future.

yeah, there are too many Catholics down there in Louisiana. This should be a brilliant strategy from the secular DNC braintrust. I look forward to two more years from Bobby Jindal (the darkest politician in LA not under indictment currently and still can’t get any love from the press).

“yeah, there are too many Catholics down there in Louisiana.”

That was the first thing that occurred to me reading this article. Someone among the Democrats must of suddenly realized that attacking his Catholicism would of guaranteed a lost election.

I always thought Jindal is a born-again Christian, not Catholic. Am I wrong?

Catholics are the adherents to exorcisms so attacking or mocking exorcisms would essentially being attacking Catholicism. And it is the number one faith down there.

(Disclaimer: I understand not all Catholics believe in exorcisms and that whatever Jindal may have seen was almost certainly NOT an exorcism. No diss intended to anyone Catholic)
