Go to www.hillaryclinton.com and check out Bill Clinton's syrupy five minute ad for Hillary. He introduces the commercial by saying that he wants to share some things we may not know about Hillary's background. His version of her biography is about as reliable as if it appeared in Pravda!

So, I wanted to make a few corrections:

Bill says: Hillary never wanted to run for public office, but she did want to work at public service.

The true facts are: When Clinton was considering not running for another term as Governor of Arkansas in 1990, Hillary said she would run if he didn't. She and Bill even had me take two surveys to assess her chances of winning. The conclusion was that she couldn't win because people would just see her as a seat warmer for when Bill came back licking his wounds after losing for president. So she didn't run. Bill did and won. But there is no question she had her eye on public office, as opposed to service, long ago.

Bill says: In law school Hillary worked on legal services for the poor.

The true facts are: Hillary's main extra-curricular activity in law school was helping the Black Panthers, on trial in Connecticut for torturing and killing a federal agent. She went to court every day as part of a law student monitoring committee trying to spot civil rights violations and develop grounds for appeal.

Bill says: Hillary spent a year after graduation working on a children's rights project for poor kids.

The true facts are: Hillary interned with Bob Truehaft, the head of the California Communist Party. She met Bob when he represented the Panthers and traveled all the way to San Francisco to take an internship with him.

Bill says: Hillary could have written her own job ticket, but she turned down all the lucrative job offers.

The true facts are: She flunked the DC bar exam and only passed the Arkansas bar. She had no job offers in Arkansas and only got hired by the University of Arkansas Law School at Fayetteville because Bill was already teaching there. She only joined the prestigious Rose Law Firm after Bill became Attorney General and made partner only after he was elected Governor.

Bill says: President Carter appointed Hillary to the Legal Services Board of Directors and she became its Chairman.

The true facts are: The appointment was in exchange for Bill's support for Carter in his 1980 primary against Ted Kennedy. Hillary became chairman in a coup in which she won a majority away from Carter's choice to be chairman.

Bill says: She served on the board of the Arkansas Children's Hospital.

The true facts are: Yes she did. But her main board activity, not mentioned by Bill, was to sit on the Wal-Mart board of directors, for a substantial fee. She was silent about their labor and health care practices.

Bill says: Hillary didn't succeed at getting health care for all Americans in 1994 but she kept working at it and helped to create the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) that provides five million children with health insurance.

The true facts are: Hillary had nothing to do with creating CHIP. It was included in the budget deal between Bill Clinton and Republican Majority Leader Senator Trent Lott. I helped to negotiate the deal. The money came half from the budget deal and half from the Attorney Generals' tobacco settlement. Hillary had nothing to do with either source of funds.

Bill says: Hillary was the face of America all over the world.

The true facts are: Her visits were part of a program to get her out of town so that Bill would not appear weak by feeding stories that Hillary was running the White House. Her visits abroad were entirely touristic and symbolic, and there was no substantive diplomacy on any of them.

Bill says: Hillary was an excellent Senator who kept fighting for children's and women's issues.

The true facts are: Other than totally meaningless legislation like changing the names on courthouses and post offices, she has passed only four substantive pieces of legislation. One set up a national park in Puerto Rico. A second provided respite care for family members helping their relatives through Alzheimer's or other conditions. And two were routine bills to aid 9-11 victims and responders which were sponsored by the entire NY delegation.

Here is what bothers me more than anything else about Hillary Clinton. She has done everything possible to weaken the President and our country when it comes to the war on terror:

1. She wants to close GITMO & move the combatants to the USA where they would have access to our legal system.

2. She wants to eliminate the monitoring of suspected Al Qaeda phone calls to/from the USA.

3. She wants to grants constitutional rights to enemy combatants captured on the battlefield.

4. She wants to eliminate the monitoring of money transfers between suspected Al Qaeda cells & supporters in the USA.

5. She wants to eliminate the type of interrogation tactics used by the military & CIA where coercion might be used when questioning known terrorists even though such tactics might save American lives.

I can't think of a single bill Hillary has introduced or a single comment she has made that would tend to strengthen our country in the War on Terror. But, I can think of a lot of comments she has made that weakens our country and makes it a more dangerous situation for all of us........She goes hand in hand with the ACLU on far too many issues where common sense is abandoned. yep, it’s laughable to say that Hillary never wanted to run for office. The Clintons have been planning this all along. Whether they succeed is up to us voters. But she always expected her own political career. And once elected to the Senate, it was only a matter of time before she would run for president. Everyone knows that; it’s the elephant in the room when discussing how did Hillary get to be a major presidential candidate.

Interesting. These facts are all, easily verifiable; for instance, Hillary not passing the DC bar.

Didn’t Hitler say tell a big lie, rather than a small one - people will believe the big ones?

Bill takes the gamble here and knows his advocates will come out of the wordwork here to say a pig is a swan.

It’ll be fun to hear Alan Colmes try to spin this. He always is trying to argue against Morris about how the facts aren’t really the facts, as far as the Clintons are concerned.

It may be laziness, but I think we can use Dick Morris' talking points as a foundation when the media start to lionize Hillary Clinton. In fact, it would be nice to add some of our own research to these points and maybe develop a dozen more. Nothing extremist, or sexist, or trivial ("she has fat ankles nanny nanny boo boo"), but cogent, articulate rebuttals of the Caring Angel image the media will try to present.

Hillary is the classic socialist, and all her ideas reflect the inherent weaknesses of her ideology. Let's demonstrate that to the voting public.

RUSH: Hillary last night told the crowd, "I'm your girl." Because there is a battle for who is a real woman in this campaign between the Breck Girl and Mrs. Clinton. They started off here with a debate on NAFTA, and the question was, "Scrap it or fix it?" and the first person taking a stab at it was the Breck Girl.

EDWARDS: It needs to be fixed, but the first thing I want to say is NAFTA is a perfect example of the bigger problem. I want everyone to hear my voice on this -- the one thing you can count on is you will never see a picture of me on the front of Fortune magazine saying, "I am the candidate that big, corporate America is betting on." That will never happen. That's one thing you can take to the bank.

RUSH: The audience was thousands and thousands and thousands of union people in there. See, Hillary has been on Fortune. The Breck Girl is on what? Vogue? Cosmopolitan? The Breck Girl, in order to pull this off, because he didn't pull it off last night from the analysis I have seen, he is going to have to somehow transform himself, not just in into a woman, he is going to have to become Oprah. If he stands a chance on this woman thing, he has to do that. I'm talking about her attitude and the things she is concerned about. But saying, "You won't catch me on the cover of Fortune magazine!" That is just such a full-fledged bunch of pandering. So Mrs. Clinton decided to respond to this. The question, "Senator Clinton, a veiled reference to someone on this panel in Senator Edwards's answer, I think I would be remiss if I didn't give you an additional 30 seconds to reply to this."

CLINTON: I noticed in the last few days that a lot of the other campaigns have been using my name a lot. But I'm here because I think that we need to change America and it is not to get in fights with Democrats. I want the Democrats to win and I want a united democratic party that will stand against the Republicans and I will say, that for 15 years, I have stood up against the right wing machine and I have come out stronger! So if you want a winner who knows how to take them on, I'm your girl!

RUSH: (Laughing) You believe this? Not "I'm your woman." I've been told all my adult life that you refer to women as women. You don't call them girls. Girls are when they are younger. Here she is calling herself, "I'm your girl." Of course, the Breck Girl is over there jealous and all of this stuff trying to figure out how to respond to this. He can't say, "I'm your man," because he's not trying to be the man in the campaign. He is trying to be the woman in the campaign. So he is sitting over there twiddling his thumbs trying to figure it out. We put a montage together. We may lay this over some bumps coming out of commercial breaks during the program today. This is just a hoot.

CLINTON MONTAGE: I am proud to be the New York AFL-CIO's favorite sister. If you want a winner who knows how to take them on, I'm your girl.

RUSH: Sister? Girl? You think that I'm exaggerating this but I'm telling you something, the woman's vote is crucial for these people. Right now Obama is getting his share of educated women, at least in polling data. Hillary's female support comes from the shall we say, uneducated and less economically viable, lets put it that way. She is using, "I'm your girl, favorite sister." Elizabeth Edwards got all this started and they're running seriously on this. (snip)

Oh my, in hindsight, if only Juanita Broaddrick had slapped BC down and cut him off at the tap root way back when before it was too late. That should have effectively taken care of Hillary, but who knows what else she would have latched on to in her relentless pursuit of the Presidency.

I tell you, if that woman gets surprised by not being elected, they will surely have to post a suicide watch for her. She’s getting real long in the tooth and doesn’t have much time to “make it happen” if she’s ever going to.
