George "Slumberin" Skelton, the Sacramento Los Angeles Times Bureau Chief, found time to write a gushing panegyric on a turncoat RINO named Abdel Maldonado and to vent his hatred of conservative Republicans. In the MSM's world, conservatives deserve to be run over by the Left. That's Skelton's definition of post-partisanship: a Republican In Name Only who surrenders to the Democrats' demand for deficit spending and Big Government up the wazoo.

---Assembly-passed budget is a Republican budget. It hits society's most vulnerable. It cuts funds for inner-city transit. It reduces the budget deficit to $700 million -- half of what Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger had proposed in May--

"While his Senate Republican colleagues have cowered under the shadow of right-wing ideology, he has had the courage to move forward on a centrist course of compromise."

Hey pinhead - if you find any Democrats with the courage to move forward on a centrist course of compromise let me know will ya?

LOL! That's a good one!

"Liberalism," as Rush puts it, "is a gutless choice." Why? Liberalism is a gutless choice because the term "liberal," or the term "progressive" for that matter, is awarded by journalists to politicians and intellectuals who have no principle superior to their desire to go along and get along with journalists.

"Liberals" and "objective journalists" are both defined by their promotion of criticism above performance, in direct contradiction of
