On Wednesday's "Hardball with Chris Matthews," Move America Forward Vice Chairman, Lt. Col. Buzz Patterson (USAF, Ret.), took anti-war activist Jon Soltz to task. Soltz was in the news recently when at the "Yearly Kos" convention he silenced a U.S. Army soldier who supports the missions of our troops.

Soltz has repeatedly worked to undermine the missions of U.S. Troops serving in Iraq, and is active in the MoveOn.org affiliated group, Americans Against Escalation in Iraq.

There was no “spanking”. Soltz ran rings around Patterson - shouted over him, DNC talking points, and all Patterson said was “I was in Bosnia” over and over again.

I didn't hear him put Soltz in his place. I heard a lot of filibustering by Soltz, while Chris Matthews flew high cover for him, making sure that Soltz could interrupt Patterson at will while holding Patterson down so Soltz could walk all over his audio.

Hate to be a downer, but this is a whole lot of nothing as far as I can tell.

I found it amusing that Soltz first tries to say that all the Democratic candidates would be ideal for the war effort and he singles out how wonderful Hillary is. Yeah, let's ask our troops in Iraq what they think of that.

He then has the nerve to tell Colonel Patterson who actually served Bill Clinton in the White House for 2 years and carried the nuclear football about Hillary's conduct towards the military.

Finally he tries to say Colonel Patterson knows nothing of Kosovo when Buzz was serving IN BOSNIA at the time and was well aware of that military effort.

Fortunately, Patterson showed him to be the hopelessly liberal.

I started to laugh when he said Hillary knew the ins and outs of how the military works. How units are used and how they go together.
