Some of you got this from Hunter in your e-mail, but for those who didn’t:

As late as March of 1980 it wasn’t sure that President Reagan would win the nomination and he was 25 points behind Carter in the national polls. But conservatives kicked up their efforts, won the nomination and won the election in a landslide. We can do it again. It won’t be easy. But it will be well worth the effort.”

From the link: “.. But conservatives kicked up their efforts, ..”

So let’s do it AGAIN, conservatives. Contribute to Duncan Hunter’s campaign, call a talk show, write a letter to the editor and include Hunter’s website, http://www.gohunter08.com/Home.aspx , and KEEP POSTING!

Say nay and get your way. If conservatives jump on this bandwagon, the media will have to start paying attention.

It's up to us, not them.

Dear Carry_Okie,

“Say nay and get your way.”

I'm unsure what you're trying to say to me.

How many members are in the “National Federation of Republican Assemblies?” There appears to be a dearth of information about the group on the link.

Actually, I’ve never heard of them before this press release. So, I don’t know how many members they have.

Well, then, he should certainly take a page out of Reagan's book and get elected to a position of national significance, like say the Governor of California, from which he would make the political connections and have the ability to begin fostering the big California political money that could launch a national campaign.

If he's serious about becoming a national political figure in the future, he'll get the heck out of the House of Representatives, from where he can go nowhere, and get himself into a position where he can do more than play at being a major figure.

16 years of symbolic overtures to Federalism while the socialists hand them their lunch ought to be a real hoot. We are at war, sir.

We’ve had a couple of congressmen become presidents, but we’ve never had a person become president who was ONLY mayor, but yet a mayor is a frontrunner (but not for long, I betcha).

These are different times, and ANYTHING, BUT ANYTHING can happen.

When Duncan Hunter becomes president, do you want to look back and say you were a naysayer, or part of his election?

Very well said.

People were ready to bury DH early on. I am thrilled to see them proven wrong. He’ll do better and better.

Hey Roy Tyler,

I told you that visit to Levin’s show would kick the campaign up a notch, why not go back?

He is running for POTUS, that seems quite serious to me. Who on either side has held a position of nation prominence? Also, P-40 has a saying about the idea one has to raise insane amounts of money that I quite like. It has something to do with turd polish.
