I assume you meant Pro-Choice.

The answer is because he dodges the issue, and when asked, his campaign folks deliberately mislead people into thinking he is either Pro-Life (by saying he’s “personally Pro-Life”), or that he would effectively govern as a Pro-Life President.

In other words, Democrat tactics - dodge, mislead, deliberately leave false impressions. Then have guys like Vitter and Olson speak on your behalf, making promises and assumptions you can disavow, while claiming “misunderstanding.”

Rudy is all about fooling SoCons into voting for him. Which is why he’s a disaster waiting to happen. Once the media gets their two GOP Pro-Choice, Social Liberal as a safety net, they’ll start peeling away SoCons from the GOP base by letting everyone know they were duped by the GOP.

But hey, who needed Conservatism anyway? If Rudy doesn’t win the election, we’ll all be under Sharia law inside of two years - the whole entire world. Go Rudy!!!

The problem, INHO, is that we really don’t know much about Rudy. He does have a socially liberal streak a mile wide. But look at where he was mayor. No openly social conservative would ever win that mayorship. So how much of his politics was just a left leap to be mayor? How much of that left leaning is fact and how much was just pandering? He did lower taxes and cut the crime rate.
