If they were forced into this they have a terrible union...Something tells me they probably got double time for participating and only after collecting their “extra” check they realized they were stupid for volunteering for the job that day.

My brother sent this to me in an email yesterday (we come from a family of firemen and cops). It’s disgraceful! I really wonder sometimes what this country is becoming.
