The researchers explain that traveling back in time is actually closing time-like curves so we can go back to an event at which we were present in the past. In flat space, it is not possible to close curves and go back in time. In order for closed time-like curves to exist, there has to be a curvature of a specific form on spacetime. So I CAN do somethings over again?!?!?!?!.........

So I CAN do somethings over again If I had my druthers, I'd rather go back to NOT do a couple stupid things.
Ex 1 & Ex 2 come to mind. And of course that little incident in the Kings moat, and the one at the the Relax Bar on Petchburi road which lead to visiting the Soviet Embassy in Bkk. (The photos were kinda nice though.)

So what if you go back to “fix” something but you just make it worse? For example, you go back to the 30’s to kill Hitler but you miss, and really piss him off. Plus, your time machine lands on Patton and MacArthur playing pool and kills both of them.
Oops.
