Trutheriness and Ron Paul (Michelle Malkin) [Ron Paul Says The Darnedest Things!]
Michelle Malkin ^ | May 19, 2007 | Michelle Malkin

Posted on 08/05/2007 5:34:39 PM PDT by Lovebloggers

CALLER: I want a complete, impartial, and totally independent investigation of the events of September 11, 2001 . I’m tired of this bogus garbage about terrorism. Ask Michael Meacher about how he feels about this bogus war on terrorism. Can you comment on that please?

HON. DR. RON PAUL: Well, that would be nice to have. Unfortunately, we don’t have that in place. IT WILL BE A LITTLE BIT BETTER NOW WITH THE DEMOCRATS NOW IN CHARGE OF OVERSIGHT. But you know, for top level policy there’s not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isn’t going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on.

You know, I respect you Petronski, but this is something where I respectfully disagree. I will say nothing further to you on the matter, because it’s clear that we’re not budging on the issue.

Yeah, but you think there is a conspiracy to merge the whole continent of Canmexamerica. So basically everybody is out to get you anyway.

No, dear, that would be United North America as in "UNA". And no, not everybody is out to get me.

Kyle: So then, who was responsible for 9/11?

Stan: Whattaya mean? A bunch of pissed-off Muslims.

Frank: [giggles] Yeah. What are you, retarded? [The President and his staff laugh heartily]

WAYR (What Are You, Retarded?) should be the standard, default response to all conspiracy theorists on FR. Do I have a second for the motion?

Actually it is quite the opposite. Maeve really didn’t care about debating at all.

Men and women of good will can agree to respectfully disagree. I will say no further to you on the topic.

Lame attempts at trying to debunk the issue by people who don’t even bother to read the issue, or the link

I read the link long before you did. I was aware of Malkin's "truther" accusations before she even put that post on her blog. The post is from 3 months ago. I guess you didn't notice that.

this quote is not from Malkin

My post said nothing about Malkin. You're the one who brought her up.

but my all means keep embarrassing yourself by saying it has been debunked already

It has been debunked already. Many times over. You can start here. I have more if you want.

LOL! Take out the Nazi reference and he said basically the same thing Paul has said — that we invited this. As a matter of fact, if you check out the Losertarian sites, they do make Nazi references. And yes, there may be rogue loons like Ted Kaczinsky out there, but I think it is just as nutty to suggest organized democrats would plot the murder their own people in a terrorist attack — for what purpose — as it is to blame the Bush admin.

[crayon] The quote I pulled from this link is actually from another blog in which that blogger has an mp3 recording of L. Ron making the statement in the opening post [/crayon]

They are not the topic of Malkin’s blog. They are entirely different.

You keep embarrassing yourself.

Please direct me to those forthcoming posts.

You have obviously read the thread and don't find her forthcoming. I do. That's all there is to it.

I’m telling you, the Hardly Boys have solved the mystery.

You were right, all along. There is a conspiracy.

The 9/11 Conspiracy Theory and the Truthers are really a plant by the Gubmint to convince the sheeple that the Gubmint is in control.

If people actually believed that the Gubmint controlled nothing and couldn’t stop the attacks, they would lose all respect for the authority of Big Gubmint. The Gubmint had to make it look like they were responsible after the fact despite the fact that they weren’t responsible and had nothing to do with it.

I hope I’ve helped you.

No. That isn't the winner either. But names and acronyms can change easily.

Oh and he willingly went on a truther radio show (several times), took calls from truthers and is now whining how they somehow seek him out and find him.

Dumbass or liar? Tough one.

The acronym would have to work in English, Spanish and French. But such a little detail.

Kyle: Will you shut up about 9/11!

Cartman: Kyle, why are you so afraid of the truth?!

Kyle: Because anybody who thinks 9/11 was a conspiracy is a retard!

Cartman: Oh really? Well did you know that over one-fourth of people in America think that 9/11 was a conspiracy? Are you saying that one-fourth of Americans are retards?

Kyle: Yes. I’m saying one-fourth of Americans are retards.

Stan: Yeah, at least one-fourth.

Kyle: Let’s take a test sample: There’s four of us, you’re a retard, that’s one-fourth.

I posted the following statement to our front page in response to the criticism I’m receiving lately as to not being fair and balanced and perceived mistreatment of trolls and assorted malcontents. Got news for all, I’m NOT fair and balanced. I’m biased toward God, country, family, liberty and freedom and against liberalism, socialism, anarchism, wackoism, global balonyism and any other form of tyranny. Hope this helps.

Statement by the founder of Free Republic:

In our continuing fight for freedom, for America and our constitution and against totalitarianism, socialism, tyranny, terrorism, etc., Free Republic stands firmly on the side of right, i.e., the conservative side. Believing that the best defense is a strong offense, we (myself and those whom I’m trying to attract to FR) support the strategy of taking the fight to the enemy as opposed to allowing the enemy the luxury of conducting their attacks on us at home on their terms and on their schedule.

Therefore, we wholeheartedly support the Bush Doctrine of pre-emptive strikes on known terrorist states and organizations that are believed to present a clear threat to our freedom or national security. We support our military, our troops and our Commander-in-Chief and we oppose turning control of our government back over to the liberals and socialists who favor appeasement, weakness, and subserviency. We do not believe in surrendering to the terrorists as France, Germany, Russia and Spain have done and as Kerry, Kennedy, Clinton and the Democrats, et al, are proposing.

As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty.

Free Republic is private property. It is not a government project, nor is it funded by government or taxpayer money. We are not a publicly owned entity nor are we an IRS tax-free non-profit organization. We pay all applicable taxes on our income. We are not connected to or funded by any political party, news agency, or any other entity. We sell no merchandise, product or service, and we offer no subscriptions or paid memberships. We accept no paid advertising or promotions. We are funded solely by donations (non tax deductible gifts) from our readers and participants.

We aggressively defend our God-given and first amendment guaranteed rights to free speech, free press, free religion, and freedom of association, as well as our constitutional right to control the use and content of our own personal private property. Despite the wailing of the liberal trolls and other doom & gloom naysayers, we feel no compelling need to allow them a platform to promote their repugnant and obnoxious propaganda from our forum. Free Republic is not a liberal debating society. We are conservative activists dedicated to defending our rights, defending our constitution, defending our republic and defending our traditional American way of life.

Our God-given liberty and freedoms are not negotiable.

May God bless and protect our men and women in uniform fighting for our freedom and may God continue to bless America.

Jim Robinson
