Come on in and check out these quotes from General Patton. Which one is your fave?
Please remember, the canteen is family friendly. We strive to honor and support our troops and their families 24/7/365. Thanks for keeping your politics outside these doors!!
Sorry I gotta post and bail — my inlaws are on their way over for dinner and I gotta get to work! :-D
*HUGS*
I kind of like his reaction to a newspaper screw-up that claimed he wore a pair of pearl-handled pistols (the pistols were actually ivory-handled):
"Only a New Orleans pimp would carry a pearl-handled revolver."
This one: "A man must know his destiny if he does not recognize it, then he is lost. By this I mean, once, twice, or at the very most, three times, fate will reach out and tap a man on the shoulder if he has the imagination, he will turn around and fate will point out to him what fork in the road he should take, if he has the guts, he will take it."
Fate has already tapped me on the shoulder twice. I hope I get third chance, and recognize it this time when it happens.

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our AWESOME military, allies, and their families.
I am running late again this morning. But, through no fault of mine. I arrived to work this morning to discover my computer will not work. One of our IT guys worked on it while I was off on Friday (I know this cause the power was off) and now it powers up but no screen/login. I am now waiting for someone to show up at work to deal with it. I was not, am still NOT, a happy camper about this. I HATE when people mess with my computer (even though technically it's not mine).
So, I had to pull out the IBM laptop (and any MAC user knows how we hate to do that) so that I could at least do some work and check emails.
And, of course, this computer doesn't have all my FReeper stuff. I'm trying to locate my ping list and what formats I have already saved, etc. So, please pardon if my good morning post looks a tad different.
Ok, gotta go for now. Hopefully, my computer will back up to full speed soon.
