The first Daily Kos diary on the subject of the Soltz Shoutdown has disappeared from their site. Gone missing, along with more than 50 comments. Heres where it used to be:
Daily Kos: What happened to this soldier?!?!?
Another diary post has now turned up to discuss this incident, from another Kos Kid whose cognitive dissonance reached critical mass, and this time I grabbed a screenshot. You know, just in case theres another glitch in their software.

Kos is a veteran of the Gulf War, FWIW.
Took one to the head, did he?
Here’s the video (FF to about 41:00 minute mark)

If a picture is worth a thousand words, this video is a novel.
bump
Who’s side was he on?
And recall that Hilligula said in a recent “debate” that she wasn’t a liberal, but a progressive.
If it looks like a progressive, and walks like a progressive and thinks like a Marxist....well, you know the rest.
I’m hoping the seargent knocked that clown out when they met outside. I felt like reaching into the screen and punching that puss out myself. I hate those freaks.
PROGRESSIVE is what she likes to be called....sounds sooooo much better that Stalinist, but it’s the same damn thing.
JON SOLTZ: Well, we are the troops. And there was nothing worse than when I was in combat in Iraq and a soldier that I sent on a convoy was killed, and I had to hear my president, the man who never had the courage to serve in Vietnam, entice my enemy with words like, “Bring it on.”
MELANIE MORGAN: Oh, please!
JON SOLTZ: So this is a very important thing. This week, VoteVets.org is launching a major massive campaign component, or not campaign, but an education of sorts, where we’re running commercials across the country. And we’re not just using Iraq war veterans. We’re having General Batiste, the commander of the First Infantry Division in Iraq.
"Well, I mean, the first thing we need to note here is that the president is a failed commander- in-chief. President Bush sent soldiers like me to die for weapons that we can't find.
If that doesn't prove that he's failed his last four years as president, frankly, I'm not sure what does. Sen. Kerry is the only one of the two candidates who has the credibility to bring allies to our side.
I agree, he was a big mouthed hot head. Regarding the video, if you look at Wesley Clark just before the ‘conflict’, he kept looking into the audience (as if someone, perhaps the soldier, was raising his hand perhaps). It’s just a guess on my part, but it looked to me like Clark was being distracted by something in the audience. That’s the same time Mr. Soltz decided to ‘end’ the session.
Co-founder and Chairman Jon Soltz “organized veterans in Pennsylvania for John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign, and his VoteVets boasts an advisory board dominated by such Democratic veterans as Kerrey and Clark.”
“Vote Vets Action Fund is a 501(c)(4) organization which primarily focuses on nonpartisan education and advocacy on behalf veterans and their families.

this President, everyday, firms up his legacy as the worst Commander-in-Chief this nation has ever seen.
Jon Soltz
He and his boyfriend kept repeating that it was "illegal for the soldier to wear his uniform".
“to” should’ve been “who”
If this guy had been denouncing the surge, they would have pulled him up on stage for a photo op.
Combat vet?
I was a vet during that time too...
...and all I can say is so what?
Kos is still a first class R-Tard (my apologies to R-Tards).
Hypocrite, John Soltz, uses this photo on his website (among others) to promote his 'point of view'.
Was that the interview with the Sargent after the conference session? I saw the bastard try to get him alone, away from the reporters.
After the Sargent emerged out of the closed door meeting, he told the reporters that they told him they were going to do whatever they could to get him in trouble their his commanding officer.
I hope his commander gives him a medal.
Exactly...yes :
If this guy had been denouncing the surge, they would have pulled him up on stage for a photo op.
