What kind of nut attends the Episcopal church in NH? It’s the church of God, run by a sodomite? Absurd, morality upside down.

What kind of site is CNA?

The homepage has an ad for Obama and other pro Obama links.

Is this one of George $oreA$$’s so called Catholic sites, which aren’t really Catholic?

Of course if a religious figure publicly endorsed a Republican, the screams from the liberals of “separation of church and state” and the demand to end tax exemptions would be deafening...

It is very much in character that “Selfish Gene” Robinson has aligned himself with Barack Hussein Obama, the “stealth candidate”.

Obama’s chief foreign policy advisor is the arch-Serbophobic “human rightser” from Harvard’s Kennedy School, Samantha Power:

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2007/08/03/campaign_memo_barack_obama_was_1.html

From this choice of advisors, we must conclude that Obama favors “humanitarian intervention”, especially to aid the cause of international islamic conquest. We must conclude that Obama is Serbopobic, Russophobic, and anti-Orthodox Christian.

We must also conclude that those who are weary of imperial foreign interventions would get NO RESPITE whatsoever under a President Obama, with Power as his Secretary of State. Indeed, they would get an unending series of such adventures, clinton on steroids, aimed at undermining Judeo-Christian civilization. At home, they would get more of the same (e.g., “gay rights”, hate-crime laws, accelerating Third World immigration.) This could only end in DISASTER!!!!

Has anyone contacted the IRS about this blatant political activity by a representative of the Episcopal Church?

Pull their tax-exempt status!

Gaddy said he was sending a letter to all the presidential candidates asking them not to make endorsements that appear to be speaking on behalf of their house of worship or denomination.

Bishop Robinson does not speak for the ECUSA. He speaks for the Gay Episcopal Church of the USA. Whether or not the GECUSA manages to take over the ECUSA remains to be seen.

The one who single handily [handedly?] caused the 500 year old Anglican church to shatter and erupt in civil war by flauting his sex life in public and not giving a damn how it effected his parish? THAT gay bishop?

You accord V. Gene Robinson way too much influence. The stresses and tears in the fabric preceded his "elevation" to bishop by decades, and even the latter event was not a unilateral effort; his electorate did not include the many who've left PECUSA/ECUSA/TEC/whatever-they-are-today in the 60s and 70s and since.

Those still in that church who were shocked by this were not paying attention -- whether deliberately ("we're safe here") or shielded from events is another matter.

The Washington Post reported that three hours after the announcement, Welton Gaddy, president of the Interfaith Alliance, said it was "just the latest example of candidates misusing religious leaders for political gain."

It's clear to me that in this case Vicky Gene is misusing political candidates for political gain. This should (but probably won't) cost TEC their tax exempt status.

Mr. Gaddy is either seriously confused or deliberately dissembling. Either one is cause for concern.

THAT gay bishop?

Yes, that would be Vicky Imogene "Gene" Robinson. (His parents had been counting on having a girl, the baby wasn't expected to survive, and so the parents gave that name to the doctor for the birth and death certificates.)

Gay Episcopal Bishop Endorses Obama

CONCORD, N.H. - The Episcopal Church's first openly gay bishop has endorsed Senator Barack Obama for president. Bshop V. Gene Robinson says Obama has been "enormously supportive" on gay issues, including civil unions. Robinson says if he has the chance, he'll urge Obama to support gay marriage as well.

The bishop says the Obama campaign contacted him to ask for his support.

But he stressed that his endorsement is as an individual, not as bishop. For that reason, Robinson says he won't talk "about the campaign from the pulpit or at any church function."

The continuing repercussions from Robinson's 2003 election as bishop of New Hampshire threaten to break up the worldwide Anglican Communion, of which the Episcopal Church is part.

Obama's campaign put out a news release announcing Robinson’s support. It identified Robinson as "a civil rights leader and a leading voice in the faith community."
