There are tears in my eyes, as T’wit was one of my favorite cyberfriends. I can’t believe that someone so energetic is gone.
But he is with God, happier than we can ever imagine.
Prayers for all.

Joining you in prayer for T’wit’s family. T’wit has finished the race and is in the Arms of his Savior. Praying for the peace and comfort that passes all understanding for his family and FRiends.

Tim worked for the National Review for yearsYou mean he was Timothy J. Wheeler former Assistant Editor of National Review? I remember him in the earliest days of NR. I'm sure that he will be remembered on NR Online!
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla; JeanS
Tim was VERY low key about it, but he has been a voice of conservatism for decades.

Oh no! He will be very missed for his wonderful sense of humor, and tireless support for Terri, and for conservatism.
Prayers said for his family.

I never knew T'wit – don't think we ever exchanged posts, but I have seen him around the site, read his posts. Sad to see another longtime Freeper leave under such circumstances. And I think it's safe to say he Freeped 'till the end – his last post was yesterday, the 3rd, at 9:46 PM (PDT).
Prayers of comfort for his family.

Rest in peace Brother Freeper. May your family be comforted by sweet memories of you, and in anticipation of seeing you again in God’s Heaven. It’s always a sad day when we have to say so long for now to any of our FR community. We’re like family and it hurts to lose a family member.

T’wit—promoted to Heaven—August 4, 2007.
We shall not weep as those who have no hope.
We pray for his family and for those still here who will miss him, until that Grand Reunion we look forward to so much.
He now is in that great “cloud of witnesses” encouraging us onward.
