Leading Democratic Politicians Address YearlyKos Convention

(AP) CHICAGO -- Hundreds of political bloggers are meeting in Chicago to begin a four-day convention filled with panels, presentations and lectures by some of the nation's leading Democratic politicians.

The YearlyKos Convention is in its second year and was started as a way for left-leaning members of the blogosphere to "proactively influence their government."

As bloggers' influence in politics and campaigns increases, the convention has become an important destination for dozens of local, state and national liberal politicians.

The conference will be capped off Saturday evening when six Democratic presidential candidates, including U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, attend a presidential leadership forum.

Wonder if they’ll start off and finish each session with a “2 Minute Daily Hate” directed at Dick Cheney, Karl Rove & George W. Bush...

Hillary and the other pres. candidates are going to kneel and bow at the altar of the netroots.

I hope we get some good pictures and quotes to use in the general election. These candidates and those who influence Dems. are just too liberal for the mainstream American voter. So that message needs to get out.

I think that BlizzCon starting tomorrow is more interesting news.

“Hundreds of political bloggers are meeting in Chicago.”

100’s? Not 1000’s? Guess their folks wouldn’t give them the airfare.

Can anyone imagine the turnout of the right-wing blogs got together and had a convention? Between Hot Air, Powerline, LGF and Freep....

I think the convention would be attended by over 1,000 Freepers in the Chicago/Great Lakes area ALONE!

I was wondering what that foul smell was. I thought maybe someone dumped sewage into the Chicago River.
