Hey, Bill!
You've got a tough job up there in the clouds riding herd over the folks. Apparently you're having problems with the folks speaking out against the America hating left. But that's ok. Just keep your eyes closed, ears plugged and your jaws flapping. Eventually the folks will tune you out and we'll all be better off for it.
FReepers:
We're taking flak so we know we're over the target. Fire at will! Fire for effect!
He flashed on his early warning radar (lol)...always a sign of being on the defense (lolololol). Now he STAYS there! Just quite Bill, you know your heart’s not really in it anymore (lol) :)
quite = quit (see...that’s self-moderation) :)
The idea of a professional moderator is something I treat with suspicion. Who would this person be? Could such a person be a mole with the intent of destroying the Free Republic in such a way that no longer would the enemies of freedom have the sword of the pen to worry about. Such a moderator may be one who has no regard for our exercise in freedom and be an instrument of those who want to censure thinking that shines the light of truth on their deception.
But it is the video...
There is a phrase used in the television industry that refers to ending a television show. It's called "killing" a show. After the debacle that I've just witnessed with Mr. Bill O'Reilly and his attack on Free Republic, which in my opinion was unwarranted, I earnestly believe that the best thing that could happen would be that Roger Ailes would choose to "kill Bill".
Now while I hope that neither Mr. Bill nor his "reseachers" take what I've written out of context there appears to be a good probability that just such a thing may very well happen. In fact, I believe there is a higher probability of that happening than in FOX choosing to "kill Bill".
Too pithy?
The majority of freepers are smarter than Bill.
I think he realizes this and feels threatened. Perhaps there is a large amount of “hate” in Mr. O’Reilly himself.
Fox & Friends has been utterly unwatchable for years, IMO.
Way too much silliness, too much entertainment.
Ill still watch.

I stopped watching him when he refused to be open-minded about the Swift Boat Vets campaign.
This offered O'Reilly plausible deniability, which he gladly took and was used to launch his FR must improve its site monitoring capability.
We'll at least you got your commment read on TV Dip S___.
Who needs enemies...
I should have included all, not meant for you Jim.
I was done with O'Blowhard a couple of years ago. He gives a damn about one thing - Bill O'Reilly. He has no core values that I can see, and has no problem engaging in groundless slime attacks and lies against critics. Which makes him no better than a Clintonista.
Anyway to find out how many folks have joined here since Bloviator mentioned FR on his show? - #79, from Rb ver. 2.0From http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/weekday-report?r=s:http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/weekday-report?r=s #128, from Arrowhead1952

Bill needs to be reminded (apparently) that if not for Free Republic (and the Pajamadeen freepers), we would now have Hanoi John Kerry as President, and Dan Rather would still be blathering away on prime time tv.
He really must have gone liberal, because they all seem to have very short and selective memories.
‘I have said it before. In two years of lurking and over two years as a member here, I have never seen anything here that even comes close to the hate, profanity, and filth, that permeates sites like Kos or DU.’
me, either!
