Free Republic has the most sincere and honest debate I have ever witnessed. I stopped going to other sites (to visit) and I have not posted anywhere but here since joining. I, again Thank You for this site. Free Republic does as Free Republic's motto and creed are. Few sites, in Internet's land, can claim this honor.
Bill has jumped the shark and is headed for the bottom of the pond, as I type. He has none to blame other than himself. Bill owes an apology to this site and each and every Conservative(s) posting here.
Early on when I was here, I was attacked for my nick. I once even emailed asking if my nick could be changed. Although I received no response, I feel this site and perhaps even a higher power (besides the kitties) made a proper decision. I enjoy being here, now with the nick I have. I could be gone tomorrow, should it be this site's decision, and I would harbor no 'ill will'.
Bill seems to be another type of story altogether. He (Bill) seems destine to settle eventually on the bottom of the pond. Bill has begun this journey, all by his own doing. Perhaps Bill does not realize people have opinions, and people sometimes post those opinions. Posting an opinion not worthy of being here, I have always witnessed as GONE quickly. (One of my post, suffered such a fate.) Bill has begun his own demise. One should not stand in his way and he swims with the shark to the bottom, which I nor anyone else here 'will' help him do! He (Bill) has done it himself.
Oh and did I say, THANK YOU SIR? Hope the kitties let that capitalization pass, Sir, and may the kitties have Bill for lunch. I have seen it typed trolls taste great!

LOL! And while he is on that couch, he can explain why he stated that his staff (paid, I would guess), can’t spare his site from “hate” comments, but FR must have a “full time monitor”. Geez. Gotta have The Last Word Bill strikes again.
(I knew he would not apologize, just as he wouldn’t after the horrible comments he made about Sean Hornbeck just after Sean was found. We here in MO have long memories....)

I was horrified when BOR got his own radio show - good grief, how pompous can you get.
It was unfair and disgusting what he said about FreeRepublic. He never even mentioned all the good patriotic conservative stuff.
I’m mad at him and will stay that way for a long time to come. So there.
I guess he’s going to try the nonchalant variation of the ol’ “I didn’t just touch that tar baby” routine.

I have been trying for quite some time here to post some info about O’Reilly’s ratings but I couldn’t get the html charts to line up properly.
Just like many media personalities, BOR looks over his shoulder constantly, concerned about his ratings. The show preceding BOR, Shep Smith, hands off to BOR right at the beginning of prime time.
Within the Fox News family, recently BOR has taken some dips and fumbled in his Nielsen ratings following some higher rated Shep Smith shows. Then when BOR’s ratings have fallen, the show following BOR, Hannity & Colmes has been left with bringing the ratings back up.
BOR’s motivation in making false allegations about Free Republic is his method of getting the attention of Internet conservatives while hoping to gain more viewers in the age-old numbers game.
The numbers game is tricky though. Just like a horse race, with Nielsen ratings, you don't win the race/ audience looking over your shoulder nor do you get higher ratings by cheating.
Ya. He's a real thinker alright.

Maybe it will attract the attention of someone on O’Reilly’s staff, but I doubt it.
Since FR doesn’t have a full time moderator (and I know this is true because the BOR said so), could you tell me when the moderator goes home, so I can post what I really think of the BOR?

He lost me after the way he went after John O’Neil and the Swiftees. It’s no shock to me he’d attack you, kristinn, and all Freepers.
If the man truly is interested in “No Spin” why does he tirelessly work to project the image that the “far Left” and the “right” are comparable.
He knows Kos takes it to a whole new level but in the interest of being “fair and balanced” O’Reilly and Fox in general seem to think that means throwing conservatives under the same bus as Kos Liberals though our actions don’t warrant it.
If he truly wanted to balance Kos with a comparable site on the “right” in tone he should have used an accurate comparison. Try a Truther site as an example. Of course he didn’t do that because those sites don’t have nearly the traffic and prestige as mainstream conservative sites like this one.
The only fair comparison of FR to Kos is in activism, traffic, and various influences in media, culture and politics. The tone, postings, and relative sanity of posters isn’t even in the same league.
