Hi dinaour, busy again today but will try to make this presser if I can.
In it he expressed concern about the worry of FReepers over his tired looking appearance. He requested that I remind everyone not to worry. He feels fine. Tony will finish up the last of his major treatments later this month. With time, the “old”, as in youthful, Tony will reappear and the outside should match the inside.
That’s our Tony, constantly correcting the data. Your humble poster did not escape Tony’s criticism either. He corrected my repeating of Bob Novak’s assertion he was no longer being invited to the White House. The invitees are rotated, Tony said. As a point made, he mentioned that a dozen talk show hosts [including my Dartmouth icon, Laura Ingraham, were at the White House yesterday talking with the President. And all but one had opposed the President’s stance on immigration.
So I too may “sleep with fishes” like Lester Kinsolving.
Kidding aside, good to hear Tony is doing “fine”!

I think a lot of the concern stems from Tony’s hair being much grayer these days, and thinner (as it looks to me). But judging from his manner, he is very much the Tony we all know and love.
