NEW YORK At a recent press conference at Camp David, President George Bush insulted BBC political editor Nick Robinson, the Daily Mirror reports.
Robinson, who has asked Bush pointed questions in the past such as whetherthe president was in denial over the Iraq war, posed a question to Bush about whether he could trust visiting British Prime Minister Gordon Brown not to cut and run from Iraq.
Bush replied with a dismissal: Are you still hanging around?
Later on, Bush poked fun at the bare-pate of Robinson, joking, Youd better cover up your bald head, its getting hot out.
The respected British reporter shot back, I didnt know you cared.
Bush responded with a cool, I dont. The Mirror reports that Bush then snorted disdainfully and walked away to laughter.
I love the sound of reporters being bitch slapped in the morning....
Sounds like victory.
I’d like to see the White House staff do more of this. The agenda of the MSM is well known, and it isn’t friendly to this administration.
Long past time to openly question and fight these people.
“Who” exactly insulted “Who”?
Love it! He needs to punch back at the obviously discourteous reporters.
Try Helen and that idiot from NBC.
In the new ass over head world, a reporter deserves more respect than the President of the US.
Now he knows how Bush’s base feels.
If it was an insult, I guess I missed it.
Nick and the BBC jihadis sound a little thin-skinned.
What a Clymer!
LOL. Excellent, Mr. President.
Hahahahaa.... I’d have been far ruder and done so long long ago if I was in Bush’s shoes.
These gnats think their antagonizing are “pointed questions”.
Even the BBC determined that they have a liberal bias in their reporting.
Cool!
An unserious liberal hack posing as a reporter, asking unserious “questions”, deserved an unserious response.
Bias? These people are out and out socialists.
“The agenda of the MSM is well known, and it isnt friendly to this administration.”
Neither is Soros fan Gordon Brown.
Personal insults, how absolutely childish. And you see this as a 'win' do you? Guess that whole 'getting adults back into the White House' didn't work as planned. There are ways to handle disdain of others, disagreement with others, but smartass remarks from the President to a foreign reporter is not it.
“Who exactly insulted Who?”
The missing M’s.
lol
If true, this is pretty good.
