WASHINGTON -- Immigration officials have granted Miami Killian Senior High School graduate Juan Gomez and his family a 45-day reprieve from being deported to their native Colombia.
They were released late Wednesday afternoon.
Barbara Gonzalez, a spokeswoman with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, said the reprieve would give Congress enough time to decide whether they will take up legislation that would keep Gomez and his brother, Alex, in the U.S.
News of the temporary stay came as a half-dozen of his classmates continued to work the halls of Congress lobbying the teen's case.

THIS WAS DONE SPECIFICALLY TO TRY AND DO AN AMNESTY SNEAK!
Here is the deal, apparently these kids "friends" are being advised by a few adults who are interested in passing amensty.
The Dream Act is a law to create ALL MINOR CHILDREN into anchor babies. This would reverse the 1996 Immigration Reform Act which eliminated anchor babies under the law. What that meant was that custody followed the parents not the children. Thus US citizen children were sent with the deported children.
What these illegal aliens are being USED for is to sneak the AMNESTY LAW PAST THE PUBLIC EYES via this BS heart story. Remember we don't even know if they appealed their case through the circuit court system, has the immigration court in Virginia heard the case?
WE HAVE TO BURN THE PHONE LINES AGAIN.
DREAM ACT= AMNESTY
Pass the dream act and ALL MINORS regardless of citizenship become anchor babies who are the start of serial immigration.
IT WILL BE A MAGNET FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM.
All ANYONE has to do is enrol their minor child in a US public school and PRESTO that child becomes an anchor baby for the 15+ family members allowed by current law.

I have access to the Immigration Appeals Reporter (reports the cases before the Immigration Appeals Court)
Does anyone have the name of the parents? or information that can track the case.
I am finding a bunch of “gomez” cases but they cite things like “criminally ineligible” or “no evidence or religious persecution.”
Border fence is meaningless if Amnesty passes.
The Dream Act is just Serial Amnesty for all illegals with children in our taxpayer funded public schools.
We cannot afford to educate the wets’ kids already in our schools throughout the U.S.
But on further reading, I see why this has happened. It was at Senator Nelson and the local Miami representative’s request. Now, this I know can happen. It’s called “Political Influence.” And all government agencies, including, I suppose, I.C.E. are going to cower when the folder is stamped P.I.
What I think we should be worried about, not this one particular case, but does this set a precedence. That is, of the hundred currently in our deportation centers awaiting deportation, if one family gets a 45 day pass to wait for legislation, why not all them? Is I.C.E. about to let them all out on the streets? Well, probably not. But Senator Nelson has intervened here, got this family a pass under the stamp, PI, and there are those who might see this is how it’s done.
I’m bothered by Senator Nelson’s intervention here. And this is based on the Dream Act? Somebody needs to tell the Senator if he’s going to use his influence for one family, then a rule should apply for them all.
This has the makings of a disaster.

Story has already been posted here, do a search, how ever the story does not point out that these two and there parents were ordered deported years ago and they skipped. So they should have been out of the country 5 are 6 years ago.
