As many have noted, Gretchen was a kind and wonderful person. As her son noted in his email, she gave him his sense of humor, among many other things. She made me laugh often also and especially when she lost the letter b on her keyboard and had to type 6 for b's. For some reason, that cracked me up everytime she posted and it did go on for a bit.

In fact, I wonder if she ever did get her keyboard replaced. I thought she was not around much because she needed an ergonomic keyboard for her carpal tunnel.

Anyway, thanks for dedicating this thread to her and her post supporting FR. This thread and FR will truly miss her.

Thank you for Posting this Dose in Gretchen's Honor, silent_jonny, and her Family is in my Prayers. Gretchen's Love for our Savior Inspired me, and Encouraged me, and she is One of whom our Lord Spoke in Malachi 3:17; a Jewel. "And they shall be Mine, saith the LORD of Hosts, in that Day when I Make Up my Jewels." She was the Lovely Kind of Person whose very Mission in Life was to Look for Ways to Bless Others. She was Always Kind to me, and I'm Grateful to our Lord that I could Know His Gentle and Sweet Servant.

WOW, i’m in shock! I have been following Gretchen’s email updates on her cousin, Carrie, and praying for her recovery. I am deeply saddened to hear of Gretchen’s passing. I didn’t know her nor did i ever correspond with her but i feel like we connected in some way. her passion through her words really moved and touched me. prayers to mark and gretchen’s family.
