Lawyers are, for the most part, professional thieves.

“Lawyers are, for the most part, professional thieves.”

***

Not true. I know, I’ve worked for lawyers for around 35 or so years. Most of my employers have been decent, hardworking and honest. However, just as there are bad apples in any profession, the same holds true for lawyers. I would not recommend lumping every attorney in with the rotten ones.

And by the way, most of the attorneys I’ve worked for have been conservative, or at the very least registered Republicans. And I know for a fact that there are a few lawyers who belong to FR. I wouldn’t call them thieves.

And another thing — I looked up the one firm mentioned in the article — Altshuler Berzon LLP — it’s a plaintiff’s law firm specializing in environmental, civil rights and class action lawsuits, among others, for individuals, unions and other groups against corporations, governments, etc. Plaintiff’s firms tend to be liberal and therefore would support liberal causes and candidates.
