You've obviously not talked to the right people. Been in several bars, village squares, mountain towns, valley towns, DF, etc. Other than from a bookstore clerk and an old Tarascan Indian woman, never experienced anything worse than the occassional tongue-in-cheek remark.

Saw more anti-Americanism in Italy and in Venezuela.

Then again, I will admit that Mexicans don't exactly care for folks that are darker than them.

I’ve talked to the right people. Which is why I am acutely aware of the anti-American sentiments that runs though most every state.

I will admit that Mexicans don't exactly care for folks that are darker than them. I've seen that personally. If a Black buys something, the Mexican clerk will make them put the money on the counter.
