I want any 12 year old Potter fans to know that the condemners are a minority and a pile of idiots, and there’s nothing wrong with reading Potter, it won’t make them evil, and it doesn’t mean they can’t be good Christians.

I agree with your point but you might also urge them to not dabble in things that people tell them are bad just because people told them not to. That is a good way to get into places they have no place being.

It’s not about the dabbling though, the reality is the vast majority of gamers, heavy metal fans, and Potter fans will never have any dabbling in the occult, and the ones that do were gonna do it anyway and aren’t statistically more significant than in any other entertainment demographic.
