One of the biggest questions of the day is health care - why are people being denied this most basic human right, what to do about those who cannot afford it, why are so many uninsured in this greatest nation on Earth, why are costs skyrocketing, and not if, but when, should we turn over health care to our federal nanny. It makes for tragic reading; but, is that because we are in such a tragic state, or could it be because the easiest way to pull off the single greatest income and power grab by the federal government in our nation's history might require that we all buy into the tragedy, hook, line and sinker? With all things political aided and abetted by the media, I go with the latter, but let's see what we are being fed, and then ask some questions.

They become government employees, with salary caps, regulated hours of work, overtime, etc.
I wonder how many people will bother spending well over a hundred thousand dollars for education to become a doc, just to become a state employee making wages around 100 thousand or less?
Not too many I'll bet. Then of course the socialists will have to pay for doctors education out of the public purse as well, and down the slippery slope to Stalin-hood we go...
Yep, Socialists are morons. But for some reason they just can't see why it always degrades and ends up in mass uprizings, wars and mass murders, a culling.
My daughter dted a young man who billed for a doc. There was a lonely old Medicare patient who came every day, and he billed every day. It was her social life. Around here the docs have lots of ways of gaming the system with lots of visits and expensive procedures. I call it the Medicare money machine.
But wait, you left out the lawyers! Yes, the insurance companies charge us lots and they charge the Drs lots in malpractice. It’s the lawyers that get the blood money when they sue.
I think the emergency room Docs refer to the older, daily patients as ‘gomers’. ‘Get out of my emergency room’ people who just want company. I bet Socialized health care will increase their numbers!
Yes, a lot of people "understood" it, in the sense that they could repeat what Hillary's task force said would be done, they could draw the flow charts and the organizational tables.
But no one who was on board with the plan had a CLUE about what was going to happen if they tried it.
I saw it all of the time, every single day, when I worked in an Orthopedic surgeon’s office.
“Doctor my finger hurts.”
“Doctor, my shoulder hurts.”
“Don’t move in a way that makes the pain worse, Tylenol twice daily, moist warm compresses as needed, com back to the office if the discomfort increases.”
Now, mind you, they aren’t in a GP’s office, they are in surgeon’s office, and Medicare pays out the yazoo for it, and does it on a continual basis.
