I taped a segment on the O'Reilly Factor for airing tonight to defend Free Republic against charges that it is a hate site. The segment will air in the 'D block' around 8:35 p.m. EDT and rerun at 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. EDT.
Rather than tell how it went, I'll leave it for folks to watch and decide for themselves. I hope I did right by FR.
We'll be having company tonight as some of Bill O'Reilly's two million-plus viewers check out FR for themselves. So please bear that in mind as you comment tonight. The Daily Kos is waging a very nasty personal campaign of retribution against O'Reilly. No sense in us piling on. Let's use this as an opportunity to show people why FR is the best conservative site on the web.

O’Reilly is unrealistic suggesting “paid professional moderators” for this site. But then again, that sounds a lot like “leave journalism to the pros.” LOL.
I love that he pinned us as racists. I have never ever seen someone post “I hate blacks”. And if I did, I’m sure it would be pulled in about 2 seconds.

This might be a good thread for people to post to Bill O’Reilly and maybe even some will come forward and apologize for some of the comments made here last night. It’d go a long way in helping the reputation of this website.
Hope they investigate oreilly’s complaints and see when they registered and if they are libs ....i have never heard anyone here saying i hate blacks...that is ridiculous.. sounds like a plant...maybe oreilly will do follow up on this.
This website costs thousands of dollars a month. To pay for "professional" moderators is outrageous.
