An NRO Symposium
The New York Times ran a piece Monday by two non-neoconservatives Michael OHanlon and Kenneth Pollack arguing that the war in Iraq can be won. Is this indicative of some kind of mood change afoot? Could we really win this war? Could the rhetoric in Washington really change? National Review Online asked a group of experts.
Get rid of el Sadr. Put Islam on the path of reformation.
In a non-PC world he would have been one of the first to go.
Still not too late.
If we pull out too soon, Sadr will be the next Saddam.
Can’t disagree with you.
I think one cannot underestimate the capture of the Iraqi working for AQ. He turned on the foreign AQ and named it ‘hiraba’ not ‘jihad’.
Little things are important. They add up.
Wars can turn on a dime if enough pressure is applied.
