Any attempt to identify a murderous ideology with a great faith such as Islam is wrong, and needs to be denied, declared Jacqui Smith, the new British Home Secretary, starting her job with a bang, or near-bang, as a flaming Jeep Cherokee (doing a fine impression of a Chevy Blazer) crashed through the terminal at Glasgow Airport, with one of its passengers staggering fron the wreckage screaming, Allah! Allah! The following day, nine persons, including seven Spanish tourists, were killed by a somewhat more efficient suicide bomber in Yemen.

Lot of good facts in the article. Things that in a more sane age would be major scandals and in this age are not even noticed.

"Any attempt to identify a murderous ideology with a great faith such as Islam is wrong, and needs to be denied, declared Jacqui Smith, the new British Home Secretary" Yep, the Mohamedans do have a 'great faith', but it's in the devil, not in God. That's the little caveat that our clueless Western leaders have no ability to discern.

Did you notice the simple point in the article that we are implicitely accepting Islamic political supremecy by not even being able to conceive of an international organization of Christian nations while our leaders go to the OIC (Organization of the Islamic Conference) which is 57 Islamic states. The Islamic world can organize politically, the Christian world can’t even conceive of organizing politically.

There is a denial about Islamofascism. Western politicians and intellectuals can't take note of the fact its a totalitarian ideology that is spread through violence, like Nazism. Merely being content to live within its own pathological realm is not enough for it - it must perforce spread its sickness elsewhere. Trapped by multiculturalism and political correctness, Western elites are too enfeebled to fight this murderous ideology effectively. Better to go the denial route and pretend there is no real danger.

Nevertheless, the incoming British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, has banned ministers from using the word Muslim in connection with terrorism. As The Daily Express reported, The shake-up is part of a fresh attempt to improve community relations and avoid offending Muslims. Sorry, but I don't hear any condemnations from the ephemeral "moderate Muslims". I've had one write me privately here and tell me they are afraid to speak out. All that tells me is that Muslims are more than willing to kill their own, as well as Christians. This is the Religion of Peace? Bull$h11. We have every right in the world to refer to all Muslims as "murderous, intolerant cowards" until they prove otherwise. "If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck..."

It’s funny, but the heresies of Christianity, modern and ancient, Islam, Communism, copy the universal nature of the faith and expansion, but not it’s limiting philosophy of love. Never love as the primary expression of the faith. They strip out the self-limiting disciplines like truthfulness, reason, love, compassion, and leave what becomes aggressive and expansionist (the Great Commission turned upside down).

Denial is a Commodity in Washington . . .
Hmmmmm . . .
Or a strategy. How much harm will one politician do to his nation before he decides he will risk his political future to do the right thing? Whatever happened to citizen legislators?

It seems to me that murderous terrorism perpetrated by self-proclaimed Islamics is a problem for Muslims to solve. It’s not the problem of other religions, who are its victims.

I’m not sure that persecuted minorities in the Muslim nations can solve the problem, and I don’t think the persecuting majority want to solve the problem. We should protect our own.

Sorry, but I don't hear any condemnations from the ephemeral "moderate Muslims".Oh ! Did you miss it?
CAIR organized a HUGE online petition that has been available for over three years now for Muslims to sign up and disassociate themselves from terrorism.
It is entitled "Not in the Name of Islam" and can be found at http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?15103374^
Go there and see the massive response after three years of collecting signatures..
