You're beginning to babble, Ben.

I mean more so than usual...

Babble? I’m just making fun of you. Which is easy to do because you are not very well informed.

I'm well enough informed not to have my posts yanked (what happened to your #59, Ben?).

As you say, Ben: "opinions are like....everybody has one".

You really are easy.

Well no, Russia really is in the Arctic. Today. And Canada does plan to patrol Ham Island. Denmark will also.

All of them can use the treaty to resolve the issue.

Will the US? Or will the US send in the gunboats?

If you news search the issue, you can tell that it is heating up. Lots of article being published.

I see you have now transitioned from mere babbling to total incoherency...

I’m sure it seems incoherent to you because you don’t know much about the subject.

I know that LOST is destructive of American sovereignty, that it would give the UN taxing powers on U.S. citizens, and that it would subordinate our legal system to an international court.

Those are the things I know. You know them too. But the difference between us is that while I strongly oppose all such attacks on U.S. sovereignty, you don't give a damn about the preservation and protection of U.S. sovereignty.

You know only what Phyllis wants you to know.

We have the worlds most powerful navy so you say we can shoot our way around the world. Should we shoot up our Canadian allies? Should we blow Statoil's drilling platform out of the water?

So who do you think was most disappointed in 2004 when Canada signed? Canada or the US? Canada, because they wasted those intervening years while they waited on the US. They are years behind their competitors.

I'm not interested in the usual Ben Ficklin deflection, bobbing and weaving.

Answer the question: "Are you for or against LOST (i.e., are you for or against the national sovereignty of the United States)?" Put up or shut up. Yes or no.

You are not interested because I am pointing out what is happening.

Your argument is based on what may-could-might happen and when I point out what is actually happening, you have no argument.

I know you wish it were about me. But its not.

I'm merely a symbol that you think you can impeach as a way of making it "go away".

Do you want me to make a list of who it IS about? A list of who is trying to destroy America?

Hmmm, this is news to me. My HS friend was a young lawyer on Elliot Richardson’s state dept team that negotiated the Law of the Sea treaty back in Nixon’s day. He gloated that the US doubled it’s area by the stroke of a pen, going from cannon shot distance(3 mi)to 200 miles. I thought this was settled way back then, with EEZ area provisos.

Now you say that the UN globalists want to grab the sovereignty of the entire ocean all to themselves??? It would be the biggest giveaway in history, and all to curry favor with some pisant dictators??? It looks like we need another grassroots immigration protest and some serious *** kicking in the whitehouse on this issue. We just can’t let this stand! My GOD, giving away 70% of the earth’s surface w/o even a shot being fired!!!!!!!!!!!!

As usual, whenever the discussion turns to you and your agenda, you want to discuss everything except providing a straight answer to a very simple question.

You evade and refuse to answer the question. Because you can't without indicting your politics, your agenda and your loyalty to the United States (rather than the UN).

You end up where you always do whenever we get into one of these loyal American conservative discussions, an endless loop of evasion and deflection.

End of discussion.

It is the end of discussion for you because what you have to say is irrelevant.
