Lol, “eating crow” just doesn’t sound good in many ways!!

I agree about snails. Garden snails are bad this year and they are yucky deluxe

Escargot is the best. Put a little congac and butter on the critter and bake him at 450 degrees for about 7 minutes. The French may be strange but they got it right when it comes to snails. Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler (let the good time roll)

I tried one once. It was a lot like picking someone else's nose.(Not that I've done that)

It tasted so vile that I spit it out.

When my family and I were in Italy, my mom used to collect snails in a bucket so she could cook them. She would boil them and then season them with garlic and spices. They’d use toothpicks to pull those things out and suck them down. It was so disgusting, I refused to eat them. One time, I grabbed the bucket and let them all loose in the yard. lol
