I am sure he will discuss it tonight.

By stating that “no GOP candidate appears at FR” he seemed to be agreeing with Davis’s assinine comment. Mr. O. should educate himself about FR. Davis is also terrified of Ann Coulter.

Honestly, I haven’t watched him as a point of entertainment in years. I do remember the day in 1998 when I first saw his show and was in shock that the conservative view was being given equal time on a news network.

That being said, he has done nothing but fall out of favor with me.

The coming of the resque to Dan Rather pretty much erased any integrity I thought he might have had. ...and now he advocates stereotyping of Free Republic as “evil”. Well that just goes to show he is no intellect at all.

Another sad, but valuable lesson in life.

Best.

Most of the hate I see on FR is among right-wingers of different shades, sort of like the Islamonazis who attack other Muslims for not being Muslim enough.

I’m not saying who is right and who is wrong, just saying it’s a shame we’re (most of us, minus the trolls) on the same side and we spend so much time and energy attacking one another.

Don’t kid yourself, $$Bill Oh’Really is in competition w/FR and the internet. Any conservative who would dismiss the Swift Boaters w/o checking out their charges is hardly worth your time.

The Fiscal conservative and Social Liberal is not worth taking seriously. We have called him on too many of his blusters. Anti-war from the minute we couldn’t find the WMD, what more do you need to know?

Pray for W and Our Troops

I doubt he can sue them but he may have a case against the guy who put a sign saying “pervert” on private property. In any case I would not be surprised if he claims harassment. From what I understand that can affect a persons credit rating.

This is also the second time I have heard Ann Coulter mentioned by a leftie as a “hater” with NO defense from OReilly.

IMHO, if someone starts to think that my “home” harbors and/or encourages hatred and far-right-wing group-think, I’d sure want to re-evaluate my home to learn why someone would have come to that conclusion.

NO WITHOUT CONSIDERING THE SOURCE

Here are the fundamentals of Liberalism:

I
Thou shalt create an illusion of invulnerability shared by most members to foster excessive optimism and encourage extreme risks taking

II
Thou shall not allow any member to question the group's inherent morality, instead members shall be encouraged to ignore the ethical or moral consequences of their decisions

III
Thou shalt promote collective efforts to rationalize in order to discount warnings, or other information that might lead members to reconsider their assumptions before they recommit themselves to their assumptions

IV
Thou shalt reinforce stereotyped views of enemy leaders as too evil to warrant genuine attempts to negotiate, or as too weak and stupid to counter whatever risky attempts are made to defeat their purpose

V
Thou shalt self-censor any deviation from the apparent group consensus, inclining each member to minimize the importance of their doubts and counterarguments

VI
Thou shalt create and maintain a shared illusion of unanimity concerning judgement conforming to the majority view

VII
Thou shalt apply direct pressure on any member who expresses strong arguments against any of the group's stereotypes, illusions, or commitments, making clear that this type of dissent is contrary to what is expected of all loyal members

VIII
Thou shalt appoint mindguards to protect the group from adverse information that might shatter their shared complacency about the effectiveness and morality of their decisions

As standard operating procedure, liberals "shame" conservatives in all that they do, knowing there will be a certain percentage who will fall into the trap and begin reevaluating themselves ad neauseum.

If the opinion comes from a known conservative source and is backed up by "subjective" data, then I will consider it before reaffirming my assumptions.

This is all predicated on the fact that I have fully vetted ever issue to my satisfaction already. That's where I am, who I am and in no way am I going to allow anyone to alter my approach or opinion unless is makes logical sense backed up with fact.

Go ahead and "look inside" everytime someone tells you there is something wrong with you. Seems like a complete waste of time to me.

Best Regards,

I as well quit watching him...It really upset me when he says “I’ll give you the last word” then see what actually happens...toward the end of “the last word”... he jumps in like a kid wanting to be at the front of the candy line...”enough said!”

I am sure he will discuss it tonight. I am glad that he has gone after KOS and what this jerk did proves that Mr. O. is correct. In the interest of fairness, he should have a Freeper on. Davis is a professional Clinton apologist who has no problem with Hillary speaking at their “convention”. Kos does not like her - they will probably boo her, and she will look “heroic”. Davis should be ashamed of himself after all the vile things Kos has said about Leiberman. Davis had denounced them in the past for their vile anti-Semitism but last night he gave them a pass. I guess he expects a job from Hillary. HE is also terrified of Ann Coulter because she speaks the truth about the Clintons. People should not back away from Ann - she is dead on in her appraisal of the Clintons and what they did in the White House. I am tired of Ann being condemned by a bunch of puny mental midgets.

Ann speaks the truth about liberals. They are traitors in addition to being anti-Semites and baby killers - all rolled up in one nauseating package.

Posted by penowa to Prokopton Oh, please. Outside of Geraldo Rivera and Alan Colmes, I can't think of anyone on Fox that I would rather NOT have promoting "the conservative agenda" than O'Really. At least pick a conservative to do that, not somebody whose hair stands on end when someone accuses him of being conservative. I take him at his word that he is NOT conservative; you should too.

O'Reilly is the number one show on cable news. I did not "pick" him, millions of people did. If you read my post you could see that last night BO promoted a conservative agenda on every issue they covered except the koran dunker. Whether he would be my "pick" to promote the conservative agenda or not is irrelevant. Whether I think he is conservative or not is irrelevant. What is important is that the millions of people who are watching him are seeing at least a lot of the conservative agenda promoted. This is much better than if they were watching the MSM or other cable stations where the liberal agenda is primarily promoted.

I don't have to think he's the greatest or even like him personally to understand that anyone who promotes the conservative agenda to that many people every night is a valuable asset. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

O’Reilly must have stumbled onto a Rick Warren or Rudy Giuliani thread.

"Hey, George or Jim, or whatever your name is, I think they just swift-boated us.
They told the truth. We don't like Hillary. She would be a terrible president
based on her record in the White House. Oh, the hypocrisy of these liberals!"

Lanny Davis said “FreedomRepublic.com”

They do that purposely. Everyone who knows Free Republic will know what he's talking about, and those who don't won't be able to find it.
