Children's Health Insurance Being Debated By Senate Now (Yes, To Include Illegals)
The United States Senate via C-Span2 | truthkeeper

Posted on 07/30/2007 1:47:13 PM PDT by truthkeeper

The Senate is now debating a bill to take low-income children (including illegals and children of illegals) off of state-run health insurance programs in order to stick them on some new federal health insurance program. Trent Lott just said the proposal before them is already $60 billion over "the baseline"..."and that's before it's even gone to committee."

Sorry I couldn't fit a BOHICA alert in the title, but still thought some of you might want to know this is going on right now, live.

If we have to start paying for REGULAR as opposed to EMERGENCY health insurance for ILLEGALS, then IT IS TIME FOR ANOTHER REVOLUTION. I have a hard enough time paying for health insurance for my OWN family. I’ll be damned if I am going to pay for ILLEGALS!!!

I tuned in when Orrin Hatch was speaking. Sounded to me like he thought it was a really keen idea.

The coming devaluation of the US Dollar is going to be swift, severe, and incomprehensibly destructive.

The scheduled collapse of the dollar, as a strategy, is fast becoming the only solution available to the short-sighted politicians who are hacking apart the basis civil fabric of the implicit trust of fiat currency.

I listened to Secretary of Health and Human Services

It will cover people making $80,000 and will cover children up to age 25. It now covers single mothers.

Here in Texas, we already give illegals instate college tuition and access to financial aid so why not insure their kids for free, too? For more details about the in-state tuition for Texas illegals debacle: On August 9, 2005, WLF filed a formal complaint with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) against Texas, charging that Texas is violating the civil rights of U.S. citizens who live outside the State. WLF charged that Texas is violating federal law by offering in-state college tuition rates to illegal aliens who live in Texas, while denying those same rates to nonresident U.S. citizens. ... In 2001, Texas adopted a law that allows illegal aliens to attend public universities at in-state rates but has refused to extend that same opportunity to U.S. citizens living outside Texas.

Now, we have the HealthCare Dream Act, I suppose.
No wonder Senator Hatch loves it.

I don't want to pay for illegals. When illegals are treated, Mexico should get the bill. Period. If Congress can't do this, they're worthless.

Dems couldn’t pass the so called “immigration” bill, so now they’re going to pass 10,000 little bills that do the same thing. Dump ‘em. Dump the dems.

We should provide health care to illegals when they need it, and send the bills to their governments of origin. If they don’t pay these bills, we should deduct the expenses from monies that we pay them. We should be sending tons of health care bills to Mexico, for one. If you or I went to France and needed emergency medical care, our private insurance (or medicare etc.) would be expected to pay for it.
