Especially the Arab ones, who were either slave catchers themselves, or were brokers between the black African tribes who captured other Black Africans and sold them to the Arabs, and the mostly New England ship owners and masters who bought them for transport to the Americas.c

I fully support African-Americans paying their full share of reperations to the descendants of Union War Veterans for the liberation of their ancestors. They've been getting a free ride for entirely too many generations.

I think only the descendents of Southern slave owners and overseers should pay reperations. That would let off the hook all Asians Americans and maybe 80 percent of the whites.

OTOH, (cough cough) many if not most blacks have some blood relationship to a Southern slave owners or overseer.
