Merry Miller interviews Holly Hunter - video.

You are right I could have phrased that better by making it known I thought it was uncharitable to bring entertainment reporter Merry Miller to everyone ones attention, but I am not the best with using the language when I am in an emotional state.
My concern was on Merry Miller not WWTD.
She should have thrown in a bunch of “you knows” and “likes” to bring out her full range of skills.
I don’t know if you have ever seen the ongoing commercial with Tom Menino and Red Sox player David Ortiz together discussing some kids volunteer projects. I can only imagine how many takes it possibly took to get all of the dialog right between the two of them.
dan rather with long hair? :-)
They needed another pretty face to lull viewers into a sense of idiotic mind-numbness.
Very funny..I’d say that either she had new contacts, and couldn’t read the teleprompter..or that the audio device in her ear wasn’t working.... don’t they usually tape these puff pieces, as opposed to airing them live?
Also technical difficulties may have added to it.
I also noticed see did a squint near the end, needs glasses or maybe new contacts.
After watching, I couldn’t figure out who was worse, the reader or Holly Hunter.
Yeah.....remember that?
That was great.......
LOL! I love Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast.
This is the tape. Someone at ABC was so amused (or, more likely, disgusted at being forced to work with this idiot who could not possibly have less deserved a chance at an on-air gig at ABC) that they made a dupe of the video and smuggled it out.
There is a highly-edited version of this interview on abcnews.com right now. It still looks awful, but not nearly as bad as this tape shows it truly was.
Redstornu, it is events like this interview that teach the most in life. When she sees the copy, she will cringe, and determine she will never act like that again. It can be a great learning experience. Hopefully, she can laugh at her self.
I agree with you we all need to go through those ruff times to learn
I just wish some of our peers who know better try not to pile on top the situation.
A guilty conscience needs no accuser!
NOT GUILTY!...er, sorry, wrong thread.
“You’re right - I am not living up to your wonderful example. I should be sitting here at the keyboard, in my magic underpants, spamming FR threads in support of Mitt Romney. In my spare moments, I could dream about how some day I will be a God with my own universe and multiple goddess wives.
But since I lack your purpose-driven life, I guess I’ll just have to make do in my own imperfect way. Experiencing schadenfreude, at the expense of a young woman who somehow escaped from the sorority house and wandered onto a national broadcast of ABC News, will have to do for now.”
Now that is a perfect example of total ownage. I give you 2 points for a takedown and 3 points for a near-fall.
The media's best and brightest.
No, by your rules you should have remained silent.
WWTD criticized Merry.
You criticized WWTD.
You did the very thing you criticized.
OUCH! Watching that was painful.
And Merry Miller is awful too.
