yes, we are blessed with so many different landscapes
I live at the ocean
but in 90 minutes.....can be in the desert
or in a few hours....deep in a forest
I do love this state
I did get some yard work done yesterday & friend took me to movies to see Knocked Up last night. Movie was crude & rude but as several friends recommended it & rotten tomatoes gave it a 91% , we went for it.. There is humor but also food for thought, For those of us who are older & not in that culture as such, there is a bit of shock value.
For our bandstand tomorrow night is a group I worked hard to get on the program for a couple years. LaFlavor
I am doing a photoshoot for the kids church tomorrow morning & will again do the pix for the newspaper for the evening concert. I have had about a dozen of my pix published in past few months

READ: Habakkuk 1:122:3
I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me. Habakkuk 2:1
Waiting is hard for me. I want answers now. Postponements perplex me; deferrals daunt me. Im baffled by Gods delays, wondering why and when. How long, O Lord?
The prophet Habakkuk wanted answers as well, but God chose to take His time. I will stand my watch . . . to see what [God] will say to me, Habakkuk wrote (2:1). The vision is yet for an appointed time, God replied. Wait for it; because it will surely come (v.3).
Faith never gives up. It knows that despite appearances, all is well. It can wait without signs or significant indications that God is at work, because it is sure of Him. Each delay is perfectly fine, for we are within the safe hands of God, said Madame Guyon (16481717).
We too must learn to view each delay as if it were perfectly fine. Postponements are reasons to pray rather than grow anxious, impatient, and annoyed. Theyre opportunities for God to build those imperishable but hard-to-acquire qualities of humility, patience, serenity, and strength. God never says, Wait awhile, unless He is planning to do something in our situationor in us. He waits to be gracious.
So take heart! If Gods answer tarries, Wait for it; because it will surely come.
Good verse! Morning Mayor. Happy Sunday!

I am going to put the power of prayer to work. I will be at MD Anderson, tomorrow. Pray, that I only have a swollen gland, and not anything worse. I am a little nervous.--Karen
